HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The ninth-ranked Nova Southeastern University Women's Golf team won the Sunshine State Conference Championship at Mission Resort + Club's Colinas Course on Tuesday. The Sharks (+16/369/363/365), led by Ariana Carvalho (T-2nd/+2) brought home the program's seventh conference title, the first since 2018. Maria Torres (T-4th/+4) and Lua Pousa Dacasa (T-4th/+4) both placed inside the top five.

Ariana Carvalho (T-2nd/71/75/72) began day three of the tournament by shooting par or better on the opening eight holes with a birdie. On the back nine Carvalho tallied six pars and a birdie, shooting bogey free for the final five holes. Carvalho finished the tournament two-over and in a tied for second place.
